Dante Mossi
Executive President
As of December 1, 2018, Dr. Mossi, a Honduran national, holds the position of Executive President of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI). He is the highest authority of the Superior Administration and the legal representative of the institution.
Dr. Dante Mossi has a Ph.D. in Economics with a specialization in Public Finance from Vanderbilt University; a Master’s Degree in Economics with a specialization in Econometrics from Duke University, and a graduate of Electrical Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Honduras.
Dr. Mossi has an extensive career of nearly 25 years, of which more than 15 years were at the World Bank where he served as a resident representative in Paraguay. In addition, he held the positions of Senior Operations Officer in the Global Energy Practice in Africa, Head of Operations in Ghana, Operations Officer, and Country Economist in Honduras.
Before entering development banking, Dr. Mossi worked for 10 years as an economist in various positions in the government sector and as a consultant to the private sector. Additionally, he has been a professor of economics at the Catholic University of Honduras.

Ana Carolina González
Ethics Officer
Ana Carolina González Garza is a Mexican national, has a degree in Public Accounting from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL), has a Certification in Ethics and International Corporate Governance from the Tecnológico de Monterrey, is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.
For more than 20 years, she has worked in Commercial Banking in Mexico in matters of Information Security, Regulatory Comptrollership, Ethics, Integrity and Compliance, prior to joining CABEI she served as Director of Institutional Integrity and Regulation, where created and coordinated the Institutional Conduct Committee, was responsible for the implementation and administration of the System of Consequences, the redesign, administration and management of the Complaint Channels, leader and coordinator of the Anti-Corruption working group of the 2030 agenda with the Mexico Global Compact and the Business Coordinating Council, is a mentor in Women in Compliance, pioneer professor in the certification of Ethics and Compliance degree with the Tecnológico de Monterrey and AMPEC, generator and promoter of ecosystems that promote ethics and integrity in public and private institutions, coordinator of the first ebook at AMPEC, member of the Ethics Commission at the Instituto de Control In suit.

Manuel José Torres Lezama
Sovereign Public Sector Manager
Mr. Manuel Torres Lezama has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua and a Master of Science in Economics from the Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia.
Likewise, Mr. Torres has different diplomas and studies in various areas such as International Trusteeship; Urban growth; Financing of Green Homes; Environmental and Social Risks in Investment Projects; Public-Private Partnerships; project finance; among others.
His professional experience of more than 23 years, occupying positions such as Chief Country Officer for Honduras, Head of Project Formulation, and Head of Pre-investment and Technical Cooperation among other positions.

Carlos Gómez
Manager of the Non-Sovereign Public and Private Sector
Mr. Gómez Díaz, is a senior specialist in financing investment projects and syndications, with international experience of more than 20 years in the structuring of complex investment schemes (including debt and capital) in sectors such as renewable energies, financial institutions, construction, and engineering companies and public finance. He has experience leading multidisciplinary teams, originating of financing opportunities, structuring and negotiating of long-term loans, syndications and due diligence processes. Likewise, he has a lot of important experience in managing international projects and portfolio management. Currently, Mr. Gómez is the Manager of the Non-Sovereign Public and Private Sector of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI). This Department is in charge of Private Sector Financing, including Structured Financing operations, Regional Infrastructure Projects, attention to Financial Institutions, and Strategic Programs, as well as Public-Private Infrastructure Partnership Projects, in the Central American Region. Additionally, he has extensive experience with the main investment banks, multilateral agencies, financial institutions, and technical advisors in Central America, Europe, South America, North America, and Asia.

Ruben Mendez
Chief Financial Officer
Rubén Méndez is a Honduran national, with a degree in Public Accounting from the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH), and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the Catholic University of Honduras.
With more than 20 years of experience at CABEI, he has worked in different areas, including Credit Management, in which he held positions as Regional Analyst for Intermediary Financial Institutions, Coordinator of IFIs, and IFIS Sector Analyst at Headquarters. . In Finance Management, for more than 10 years, holding positions as Asset and Liability Management Analyst, Accounting and Budget Analyst, an area in which he also served as Assistant Chief of Accounting and Budget; and most recently he held the position of Head of the Office of Planning and Budget. During his career at the Bank, he has participated in the development and implementation of various projects of great relevance and impact at the institutional level, including the design of credit analysis methodologies for Banking and Non-Bank Financial Institutions, the Risk Rating System, Design and Implementation of the Corporate Results Matrix, among others. His experience within the Bank also includes the Bank’s Risk Rating Management before the International Rating Agencies, formulation and monitoring of the Institutional Strategy, Operating Plans and Budget.

Jaejin Lee
Manager BCIE Foundation
Jaejin Lee is originally from South Korea and has a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She has a Master’s in Finance from the London School of Economics.
She has approximately ten years of work experience at MDB (Multilateral Development Bank) where she spent her last three years at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Seoul as an Investment Officer. For the most part, she has supported herself by developing businesses for Korean companies investing in emerging markets. During this time, she has maintained and managed relationships with government agencies and ministries.
Before the above, he spent seven years in London at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) investing in the private sector and focusing on agribusiness in Eastern European countries, including Ukraine, North African countries, as well as the countries of Central Asia.
Similarly, she has investment banking experience at Macquarie Capital for two and a half years as an analyst.

Sonia Cibrian
Chief Advisor of the Presidential Strategy and Innovation Unit
Lawyer Sonia Cibrián, a Honduran national, has been Chief Advisor of the Presidential Strategy and Innovation Unit (UPEI) of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration since 2021. With a broad and solid professional career of more than 30 years of experience within of the Bank, performing in different roles such as Administrative Assistant, Legal Technician, Lawyer in the Legal Affairs Office and since 2018, as Advisor to the Executive Presidency of CABEI, which has allowed her to obtain a strategic and institutional vision.
As UPEI Chief Advisor, leads the management of key issues to achieve the strategic objectives of the region. Likewise, she is responsible for leading the expansion of CABEI’s presence in extra-regional partner countries, managing the Representation Offices in the Republic of China (Taiwan), in the Republic of Korea and in the Kingdom of Spain; with the purpose of ensuring positive synergies and developing initiatives for optimal use for the benefit of the region. Likewise, she is in charge of supervising the strengthening of the Regional Center for Innovation and Technology (CRIT).
Her work experience is supported by her solid professional training with a Master’s degree in Business Law from the Central American Technological University (UNITEC), Honduras, and her Law Degree from the Technological University of Honduras (UTH). He has participated in different conferences, congresses and courses related to legal issues, project financing, securities issuances, the right to immunity, arbitration, corporate finance, money laundering, laws in Honduras as a system of social control, protocol, etiquette, diplomacy, governance, institutional strengthening, among others.

Maria José Negreira
Pension Fund Manager
She joined the Bank in February 1999 and currently works as Head of the Social Benefits Fund. Previously, she served as Senior Management Advisor, Resource Procurement Specialist, and Assistant Director for Argentina. Before her work at CABEI, she worked as an Analyst at the Arthur Andersen branch in Buenos Aires.
She obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Luján (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Southern Illinois University (Carbondale, United States).

Francisco Cornejo
General Services and Financial Control Manager
Of Salvadoran nationality, he completed his university studies in industrial engineering at the “José Simeón Cañas” University, UCA. He later obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Finance, at INCAE Business School, in Managua. In 2002 he obtained the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) certification issued by IMCA and the Wharton School.
He began his professional career in the banking field more than 20 years ago, during which time he has held a variety of management positions in the fields of Finance, Treasury, Technology, and Operations. His experience has developed in a wide range of institutions: regional and global commercial banks, state financial institutions, and multilateral development banks. Among his main professional achievements, he has led the merger process in Honduras of Citibank with Grupo Financiero Uno and Grupo Financiero Cuscatlán.
